North Announces Sara Akles as Personnel Administrator




North is excited to formally announce the newly established position of Personnel Administrator. Sara joined the North Mechanical team in November 2021 as Service Administrative Manager. Prior to joining the North team, she worked in the healthcare industry as a pharmacy tech and in accounting. Sara also worked as a dispatcher and Branch Operations Manager at Johnson Controls for nearly 5 years. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Administration.

Earlier this year, Sara accepted the position of Personnel Administrator. In her new capacity, she ensures the ongoing success of North employees by collaborating with various teams daily. Her responsibilities include streamlining new employee onboarding, conducting essential training, and contributing to the creation of new policies and procedures in collaboration with management. Additionally, Sara plays a key role in OKR management, weekly timesheet reporting, employee profile audits, training and development tracking, and acts as an IT support liaison, among other duties.


Outside of work, Sara enjoys camping, traveling with friends, attending concerts, and going to professional sporting events. Yet, her true joy lies in spending quality time with her husband and two children. Sara is a dedicated supporter in the stands, actively involved in her kids' extracurricular activities, such as baseball, basketball, dance, or gymnastics. A fun fact about Sara is at the age of 15, she participated in a softball tournament in Europe and played against teams from the Czech Republic, Netherlands, and more!
