Unquestionably, job site safety is always job one. North Mechanical’s EMR rating has been below 1.0 for many years, and the company has received many zero lost workday and safety awards. All construction and service technicians are 10/30 hour OSHA trained and have received CPR training. North Mechanical has adopted the construction site safety standards endorsed by the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS), which is dedicated to achieving zero injury on job sites, and promotes standards that are distinct from and more stringent than OSHA regulations, including policies for a drug free workplace. The organization holds quarterly seminars for foremen to learn about new safety equipment and procedures, potentially hazardous work conditions, and prevention methods.
